Best Ever Potato Soup

8 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
Salt and pepper (to taste)
1.5 cups of milk
4 T. self-rising flour
1 stick of butter
Onion Powder (to taste)

Boil potatoes until falling apart. Drain and save 1.5 cups of potato juice. In separate pan melt butter and onion powder together. Stir in flour. Slowly add milk over medium-high heat. Gradually add potato juice and mix well until almost boiling. Be careful not to burn. Pour mixture over potatoes in large pot. Simmer for 20 minutes.
