Taco Dip
the cook:statia about more

This is one of those dips that I figured everyone knew about already, but whenever I make it, I'm surprised that people have never had it before. It's really simple and is always a hit. I usually eat the leftovers with a spoon.

You need:
1 8oz container of sour cream
1 bar of regular cream cheese
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 jar salsa
approx 2 cups of shredded nacho or taco cheese

Soften cream cheese. Mix in sour cream and taco seasoning, and blend until smooth. Spread cream cheese mix onto the bottom of a pie plate. Strain salsa thoroughly. Layer salsa evenly on top of the cream cheese mixture. Next, layer shredded cheese over top of the salsa. Chill before serving.
